Let’s Sense Make your business.

Background & Experience

The experience behind the practical perspective.

Operating experience

My career has combined hands-on operational work with people leadership across technology, healthcare, and retail. I’ve worked across finance, hiring, and international people operations, coordinating the practical details that connect teams, vendors, and day-to-day work.

What that experience includes

Delegation & decision-making

I match responsibilities to the right person’s skills, capacity, and readiness, considering the complexity and sensitivity of the work. Effective delegation means knowing when to hand something over—and providing the guidance and authority to move it forward.

Operations & processes

I’ve built and improved processes throughout business operations, connecting people, responsibilities, and systems to make the business work better. Onboarding, financial workflows, collections, and hiring are just a few examples—the work extends wherever a process needs to be built, clarified, or improved.

I establish clear procedures, useful automation, and appropriate oversight, with checks before and after completion and second-person reviews. Integrity and accuracy are central to that work.

AI, automation & systems

I’ve selected providers and contracts to fit business needs, negotiated discounts, consolidated overlapping platforms, and managed software seats.

I use AI to build and refine my website, develop business messaging, and organize ideas and processes. The initial site took less than a week. I direct the work, test my ideas against its suggestions, challenge assumptions, push back on weak answers, check facts and numbers where relevant, and refine repeatedly. Final judgment stays with me. Accountability and integrity are my working standards: I take responsibility for what I choose to use or publish, without assuming AI is error-free.

Coaching, leadership & teams

I’ve coached executives and developed leaders and individuals into managers. The goal is independent, capable teams that support managers with authority, credibility, integrity, and accuracy.

People & capacity

I adapt communication and coaching to each person’s strengths and development needs. I review workloads, simplify time-consuming processes, and redistribute responsibilities where needed—while recognizing when someone’s contribution warrants growth, greater responsibility, or promotion.

I also recognize when it’s time to part ways and approach those decisions with care, clarity, and respect.

I’ve helped improve team morale through difficult conversations and constructive feedback.

As Founder & Principal Consultant, I bring the strategic perspective, managerial judgment, and client leadership to each engagement. Projects can include a Business Operations Specialist for hands-on implementation, coordination, systems setup, process improvements, and ongoing support, with my direction and review.

Human resources

I’ve managed human resources, onboarding and offboarding, and operational administration of termination costs and separation policies, coordinated with local specialists for jurisdiction-specific requirements.

International payroll & benefits

I’ve managed country-by-country international payroll and benefits, including statutory vacation minimums, leave processing, and health benefits, coordinated with local specialists for jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Logistics & device management

I’ve managed logistics and device administration, including equipment coordination through onboarding and offboarding. I also oversaw the person responsible for SOC 2 compliance.

Hiring & recruiting

I’ve built and improved hiring programs for organizations, from defining roles and evaluating candidates to organizing recruiting and improving hiring workflows.

Project management

My project management experience includes improving efficiencies, coordinating responsibilities, driving work through milestones to completion, and managing timelines and budgets.

Work history

Experience across technology, healthcare, and retail brings a practical perspective on operations, people, and the systems that help businesses work.
